An announcement was made on May 6 by Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment.

Amazon will add Pakistan to its 'sellers list' in the next few days.

We've been talking to Amazon for the last year and now it's happening. 

This is a great opportunity for our young generation, our small and medium 

enterprises (SMEs) and women entrepreneurs.
Later, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan himself commented on the news in his 

tweet, saying, One of the major developments is that Amazon has finally allowed our 

merchants to export Asia through its system.

When contacted News Media to confirm the news, a company spokesman replied via 

email that Amazon has always sought to increase the number of its partners in order

to expand its business.

So that people around the world can grow their business.

We do not speculate about the future, nor do we have anything to say about it.

However, Commerce Ministry sources told  that Amazon has confirmed the inclusion of

Pakistan in the list and this will happen in the next few days.

According to sources, the reason for the government's earlier announcement was that

businesses that want to join the sellers' list should start their preparations as

it is a golden opportunity to grow.
